Prep and dip
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper to create a nonstick setting surface.
- Melt the white chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl using 30-second bursts, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Dip each Oreo fully into the melted white chocolate, then tap with a fork to remove excess for a tidy coating.
- Place the dipped cookies on the parchment paper and immediately top with red sprinkles and blue sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
Set and store
- Let the cookies set at room temperature for 20–30 minutes, or chill in the fridge for 10 minutes to speed up firming.
- Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
Notes
Pro tip: If the chocolate thickens while dipping, rewarm it in additional 15–30 second microwave bursts and stir until smooth. Store leftovers sealed at room temperature for up to 1 week; freezing isn’t recommended because the sprinkles may soften and the texture can change. For a dietary swap, use dairy-free white chocolate melting wafers if you want a dairy-free version while keeping the same method.
