Method
Cook the pasta
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package directions, then drain.
Sear the seafood
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and scallops, cooking for 2–3 minutes until just opaque, then remove and set aside.
Make the alfredo sauce
- Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring it to a gentle simmer. Whisk in the Parmesan until smooth.
Assemble and bake
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce. Fold in the shrimp and scallops.
- Transfer to a baking dish, top with extra Parmesan, and bake for 12–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Serve
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For the best bake, keep the seafood just opaque—overcooking at the skillet stage will make it rubbery after baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat gently in the oven or microwave until warmed through. Freeze not recommended due to sauce texture. For a lighter option, swap heavy cream for half-and-half and add the Parmesan off the heat to help it stay creamy.
